LET’S START KNITTING

20 Adorable Easter Crochet Patterns and Knitting Patterns for Your Egg Hunt!

Easter’s right around the corner — literally! We’re just a few days away from the BIG DAY and some of us *ehem, probably me* have barely started the preparations.

So I made this super-sized round up of easter crochet patterns that you will love. Oh, and guess what? I made sure to add a ton of easter knitting patterns too!

Materials You Need for Easter Crochet and Knitting Patterns

  • Crochet hooks – Make sure to have plenty of crochet hooks on hand! You can find the hook sizes you need listed in the ‘materials’ section of each crochet pattern in this round-up!
Pro tip: Wood and plastic hooks are great for slippery yarns and metal hooks are perfect for “sticky” yarns like acrylic!
  • Knitting needles – Have some slip-proof knitting needles ready to use! You can find the needle size details on the pattern you’re following.
  • Yarn – Make sure to check the pattern to see what yarn weight to use. Each pattern should list a recommended brand or weight in the “suggested yarn” section of the pattern you’re following! We always recommend that you match the fiber type you’re using with the one used to make the pattern!
  • Scissors – A pair of scissors is another important tool that you will use for all of your projects. You’ll need them to cut the yarn when you’re done!
  • Yarn/darning needle – You will need a yarn needle or darning needle to sew in the loose ends.
  • Stitch markers – You might need stitch markers to keep track of where you are if you’re following a stitch pattern. We recommend “removable” or “locking” style stitch markers for crochet and knitting projects. If you don’t have stitch markers, you can use a strand of scrap yarn—preferably in a different color so it’s easy to see.
