Start: Create a magic ring (mr). Chain (ch) 1

Make *2 dc* in each stitch around. Slip stitch on the first dc you created. Ch 1.
Make *2 dc* in each stitch around. Slip stitch on the first dc you created. Ch 1.
Attach a different yarn color (optional).
*single crochet (sc), skip 1 stitch, [make 5 dc in the same stitch], skip 1 stitch* , repeat * * around. Slip stitch (sl st) on the first sc you created. Ch 1. Stretch the chain a little bit upwards and cut the yarn tail.
Take your yarn tail and thread it through the darning needle. Now go in between the loops of the first sc that you just slip stitched in.
Next, go through the base of the double crochet round below. Snip the remaining yarn tail off.
Hide the yarn tail in the middle of the flower by weaving it through the magic ring.
