Flower Coaster Crochet Pattern

I used two different colors for this crochet flower coaster pattern to make things look fun and interesting. You are free to use whatever color you prefer and how ever many colors you want!

Step 1

Start: Create a magic ring (mr). Chain (ch) 1

Make 11 double crochets (dc) inside the mr. Slip stitch (sl st) on the first dc you created. Ch 1.

Step 2

Make *2 dc* in each stitch around. Slip stitch on the first dc you created. Ch 1.

Step 3

Make *2 dc* in each stitch around. Slip stitch on the first dc you created. Ch 1.

MAKING THE PETALS

Step 4

Attach a different yarn color (optional).

*single crochet (sc), skip 1 stitch, [make 5 dc in the same stitch], skip 1 stitch* , repeat * * around. Slip stitch (sl st) on the first sc you created. Ch 1. Stretch the chain a little bit upwards and cut the yarn tail.

HIDING THE YARN TAILS

Take your yarn tail and thread it through the darning needle. Now go in between the loops of the first sc that you just slip stitched in.

Next, go through the base of the double crochet round below. Snip the remaining yarn tail off.
