LET’S START KNITTING

12 Awesome and Wacky Halloween Knitting Patterns!

September is almost over and we’ve only got a few weeks before the one of the most looked-forward-to holidays: HALLOWEEN! The month of October is called “spooky month” for a reason. We spend the entirety of it prepping for the BIG ONE.

That can be stressful, especially for busy people. Wouldn’t it be so cool if you had a list of fun Halloween-related patterns to get ideas from?

Well, I’m here to help take some pressure off your shoulders. Check out these absolutely wacky, adorable, and cozy Halloween knitting patterns!

What You’ll Need for Halloween Knitting Patterns!

Time to get stitching! Here are some things you’ll need to make this kooky list:

  • Knitting Needles – A pair of sturdy knitting needles are the most important tools you need to complete any knitting project. For beginners, we recommend that you start with wooden needles as the wooden texture is better for stopping your yarn from slipping of while you work! Grab a pair of circular knitting needles to make knitting the wider pieces of fabric easy breezy!
  • Yarn – Make sure to check the pattern to see what yarn weight to use. Each pattern should list a recommended brand or weight in the “suggested yarn” section of the poncho knitting patterns you’re following!
  • Scissors – A pair of scissors is another important tool that you will use for all of your knitting projects. You’ll need them to cut the yarn and trim any leftover yarn tails when you’re done!
  • Stitch markers – You might need stitch markers to keep track of where you are if you’re following a stitch pattern. If you don’t have stitch markers, you can use a strand of scrap yarn—preferably in a different color so it’s easy to see.
  • Yarn/darning needle – You will need a yarn needle or darning needle to sew in the loose ends.
  • Free Halloween knitting patterns – Don’t forget to grab the coolest Halloween knitting patterns from this list!
