Lace knitting is something that I really want to get into this year. It’s often very warm all year round where I live, so most shawl-types can’t be worn out — except for lace!
Lace knits are so perfect for warmer weather thanks to how breathable they tend to be. With spring and summer fast approaching, I though this would be the perfect time to share some awesome lace knit patterns online.
Being able to knit lace is a skill in and of itself. But it’s not as hard as you think. There are many beginner-friendly lace knitting patterns online and I’m here to share some of the best ones I found!

This round up was so fun to write up because I was able to explore the art of knitting lace. It looks so intimidating at first, but turns out there are patterns there for newbies like us to enjoy.
The patterns that really caught my eye were the Beginner’s Lace Shawl and the Asymmetrical Lace Shawl. I would love to wear these out on a sunny day with my family!
