Folding the Feet & Crown

Each BeKnitting PomPom kit comes with a sheet of foldable feet and a crown for your new little buddies. All of these accessories for the pom pom animals are made the same way. You’ll find notches on either end of the band that can be popped open and hooked together to close the loop. You can adjust how tight the bands are too!

Step 2

Step 1: find the side with one slot, this is the hook! Pop that crescent open so the tab is open. Step 2: for the feet (not the crown!) bend the feet up so that they sit flat on a table.

Adding Eyes!

To add the plastic eyes to your pompom friend you’ll just need a pair of eyes and glue. That’s it!

Start by poking the eyes into the pom pom on the face to figure out just where you want them to be. You don’t want them to be uneven!

Once you’ve figured out where you want them, take one eye out and spread the fur out as open as possible. Add a dab of glue and press the eye into the open spot. Let the glue dry before fluffing the pompom up around the eye again.

Repeat for the second eye!

Bonus PomPom Friend!

The fun doesn’t have to stop with the standard pom pom animals! Got leftover yarn? We’ve got a little extra buddy for you to make too!

This squeaky little snowball is made with white yarn and the largest pompom maker in the kit. Follow all the steps for making pompoms in this tutorial (don’t forget to fluff it too!) and add any of the little accessories you want for extra personality.
